This was my Mother-in-law’s teacup. No one in the family expressed any interest in it after she died, so I listed it on eBay where it fetched a whopping $21.50 and now gathers dust in Seattle. I shot the eBay pictures using my flash setup and left the teacup on the sweep when I was finished. The next morning I went into my studio and found the teacup framed by the shadow from the bay window. I can’t explain why I find this shot so appealing. Maybe it simply reminds me of Audrey.
